BAGAIA Program scheduled for November 2022, in cooperation with African Union (AU) in partnership with European under the EU-Aviation Safety for Africa (EU-ASA) project and the Accident Investigation Bureau Nigeria (AIB-N) highlights:
The 8th Banjul Accord Group Accident Investigation Agency (BAGAIA) Commission meeting to be hosted by the Accident Investigation Bureau Nigeria (AIB-N) from 14th-25th November 2022 will include some key workshops that will provide contextual capacity building to investigation authorities in the region and beyond.
The first few days of the meeting will be occupied with stimulating the intellects of delegates with workshops on Flight Recorders titled: Recorders and Beyond to be held on the 14th and 15th of November 2022.
There will be a workshop on the role of accident and incident investigation in the State Safety Program (SSP) from November 16th to 18th, 2022.
A retired Managing Director of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Mr. Dennis Jones would be the instructor at the above workshops.
Also, the BAG Council of Ministers meeting would hold between the 21st and 22nd of November 2022.
These precede the BAGAIA Commission Meeting slated from 23rd to 25th November 2022.
